Exterior Features
The HUMMER EV is available as a truck and an SUV, both vehicles offering plentiful power and maximized cabin and cargo space. Both models have deep-tinted glass and amber LED roof-mounted front lights. This year’s HUMMER EV boasts the Infinity Roof as a standard feature on all trims, whether you choose the truck or SUV. This roof is made up of four removable Sky Panels that can be placed inside the included storage bags, offering an exhilarating open-top driving experience.
All truck and SUV HUMMER EVs are equipped with IntelliBeam headlights, which automatically dim the high beams when other drivers are visible. All models have heated, power-folding, power-adjustable side-view mirrors, and the SUVs feature an auto-dimming function on the driver’s side along with integrated turn indicators and puddle lights. Because EVs are so quiet, GMC implemented the Pedestrian Safety Signal in all 2024 HUMMER EVs, and this safety program automatically sounds an outside alarm to alert nearby pedestrians.
The MultiPro Tailgate
The 2024 HUMMER EV pickup includes GMC’s MultiPro Tailgate with six clever functions designed to maximize bed space, simplify loading and unloading, and even offer a workspace.
In addition to the standard one-touch opening function on the primary tailgate, the built-in load stopper keeps longer cargo secure. The inner gate can be flipped down for better bed access and includes a built-in step. The inner gate also features its own load stop and can be manipulated into a work surface.
Unbeatable Power
The base model SUV and pickup HUMMER EVs include the Ultium Drive System, featuring a motor in the front, a motor in the rear, and an electric four-wheel-drive system. This drive system grants the 2024 HUMMER EV 625 horsepower and a whopping 7,400 lb.-ft. of torque. The included Driver Mode Selector allows you to adapt seamlessly to any terrain or weather.
Advanced Braking Systems
Since a ride so powerful needs extra braking power, GMC included several advanced braking programs in addition to the standard four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes and FNC brake rotors. The Automatic Emergency Braking program has been enhanced to work at speeds of 2 MPH and above, the Front Pedestrian Braking system can autonomously brake on your behalf, and the Reverse Automatic Braking feature will prevent you from reversing into obstacles or other drivers.
