Leasing Vs Financing

What’s The Difference Between Leasing and Financing?

Deciding how to finance your new vehicle is always difficult, and a lack of understanding of your options doesn’t make the decision any easier. The key difference between financing and leasing your vehicle is that when you finance, the dealership transfers ownership of the vehicle to you after you complete your monthly payments. With leasing, however, the dealership always retains its ownership of the vehicle.

To determine which option is best for you and your needs, we’ll explore the benefits of each option thoroughly.

Pros of Financing Your Next Vehicle

The advantages of buying your next vehicle include:

  • Once you complete your monthly payments, the vehicle is yours to keep with no additional required payments and you have the freedom to do what you want with your vehicle.
  • Buying the vehicle also frees you from mileage restrictions that often limit leased vehicles, allowing you to travel as far and as often as you’d like.
  • Owning your vehicle outright also allows you to customize your car, so it reflects you and your personality, an option that isn’t available to you through leasing.
  • If your taste in vehicles changes over time, you have the option to either sell or trade in your vehicle, allowing you to pursue purchasing your next vehicle freely rather than waiting for the end date of your lease, which could be years away.

Pros of Leasing Your Next Vehicle

  • Choosing to lease your vehicle often comes with the benefit of lower monthly payments and no down payment required.
  • Through the terms of your lease, scheduled maintenance and repair costs for the vehicle you’re driving will generally be covered by the dealership.
  • Leasing affords you the opportunity to drive a variety of vehicles, even those that would normally be out of your price range, exploring the full range of features and amenities available in higher-priced models.
  • Sick of the hassle of selling or trading in your vehicles? When you lease your vehicle, once your term is up, all you have to do is hand over the keys and make your next selection.

With both strength and eco-friendly efficiency, the 2024 GMC HUMMER EV is a groundbreaking vehicle that merges the rugged power of a traditional HUMMER with the futuristic technology of electric vehicles.

Exterior Features

The HUMMER EV is available as a truck and an SUV, both vehicles offering plentiful power and maximized cabin and cargo space. Both models have deep-tinted glass and amber LED roof-mounted front lights. This year’s HUMMER EV boasts the Infinity Roof as a standard feature on all trims, whether you choose the truck or SUV. This roof is made up of four removable Sky Panels that can be placed inside the included storage bags, offering an exhilarating open-top driving experience.

All truck and SUV HUMMER EVs are equipped with IntelliBeam headlights, which automatically dim the high beams when other drivers are visible. All models have heated, power-folding, power-adjustable side-view mirrors, and the SUVs feature an auto-dimming function on the driver’s side along with integrated turn indicators and puddle lights. Because EVs are so quiet, GMC implemented the Pedestrian Safety Signal in all 2024 HUMMER EVs, and this safety program automatically sounds an outside alarm to alert nearby pedestrians.

Brake Repairs

Worn brakes are one of the main causes of accidents as they reduce your ability to quickly and efficiently bring your car to a stop whenever you need to. The braking system operates under high pressure, and this constant level of pressure can cause wear and tear. A worn brake hose could leak, for example. In addition, certain components, like the brake pads, need to be replaced regularly as they wear out.

Strange noises, foul chemical smells, and a lack of resistance when you step on the brake pedal are all signs that something is wrong. Brake problems will worsen if they aren’t repaired, and this can lead to additional damage or even cause an accident. Our technicians are experts at brake repair and can quickly identify the problem and repair it. You’ll drive away knowing your brakes are working perfectly again.

Getting car financing at our GMC dealership in Las Cruces, NM has many advantages over going to a bank, credit union, or another lender. For instance, it’s better for people with poor credit. It’s also a hugely convenient way to offload your old car, finance your new one, and pick a new ride that you love all in one trip.

1. It’s a Great Option Financially

It’s easier to get a loan at a dealership than it is at a bank or credit union when your credit isn’t in the best shape. This makes dealership financing a great option for people with low credit scores, as dealers present you with an option to get financing for your car when it’s difficult to get financing elsewhere.

There are financial incentives for people with excellent credit scores, so dealership financing caters to both ends of the credit score spectrum. If you have excellent credit, then you may be able to qualify for a 0% APR loan if the dealership is running a promotional offer at the time. Even if you can’t secure a 0% APR loan, you may qualify for one with a very low interest rate.

Healthy brakes are essential, as they give you full control over your car’s speed. In time, parts can become worn or damaged and you’ll need to visit your GMC dealer for a brake repair. These are a few signs you have brake trouble.

Soft Brake Pedal

Brake fluid is kept under high pressure, as the pressure generates the force necessary to stop your car when it’s moving at speed. The fluid forces the pins out of the calipers, which causes the calipers to close on the wheel rotors. The pads inside the calipers generate friction against the rotors, and this brings your wheels to a stop.

You should feel the pressure in the system when you press down on the pedal. The fluid generates resistance which becomes more pronounced as you apply more pressure. If you don’t feel resistance from the pedal, this means there’s a problem in the braking system. The problem could be caused by a fluid leak or a bubble in the braking system that’s blocking the fluid’s movement. We’ll examine your brakes and fix the problem.
